Blue candy melts
  • 1 blue candy melts
Red, white, and blue star sprinkles

Method

Prep
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares in a single layer.
Melt and coat
  1. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
  2. Spoon or drizzle the white chocolate over each mini pretzel, covering the top but leaving the edges slightly visible.
Color and finish
  1. Melt the red and blue candy melts separately in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
  2. Drizzle the red and blue melts over the white chocolate-coated pretzels using a spoon or piping bag.
  3. Immediately scatter the red, white, and blue star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet.
Set and serve
  1. Let the pretzel bites sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until fully set, or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  2. Break apart and serve the set pretzel bites.

Notes

Pro tip: If the chocolate looks thick, keep microwaving in short 30-second bursts with stirring until smooth so it drizzles neatly. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days; refrigerate up to 5 days. Freezing is yes—freeze in a single layer, then bag, for up to 2 months and thaw at room temperature. For a lighter option, use a sugar-free white chocolate alternative and sugar-free red/blue candy melts (look for meltable varieties).
